I was just sitting here thinking about what makes being a Real Estate so special for me.
Whilst it is always incredible to be a part of the real estate journey that people travel along, and seeing them realize their dreams is pivotal to my role in real estate, my #1 passion is always about meeting people and creating lifelong relationships.
Meeting people, for me, is not just about establishing a connection, but relationships that we form, provide education, opportunity for growth and the potential to serve a greater good as we strive towards being more than just a Realtor, but a Trusted Advisor.
Let me give you an example.....
When I have the opportunity to meet others, whether it be a new customer, colleague, peer professional in real estate, I make sure that I take the opportunity to grow from our conversation and relationship. Meeting others, is often infused by snippets of knowledge that enable me to be a better practitioner of my craft. Meeting with a Loan Originator, helps me to understand the different loan types, whilst meeting with a Home Inspector enables me to understand the depths within a home Inspection. When you take these examples and then couple these experiences with the communication skills that I develop during these relationships, it serves to develop my abilities, and thus give me the tools to better serve my customer.
Meeting people is my number one priority, not just because I may be fortunate enough to meet my next customer (which, I will say is always awesome), but from the personal value that it gives me as an individual.
Let me take a moment to thank all those people, who play such a valuable part in my personal and professional development - I truly appreciate you!
I guess you might be wondering why I am thinking of this right now.... well, since beginning my Radio Show, I have been so fortunate to have some wonderful guests on the shows, and I think this has triggered some reflection and appreciation of how the experiences and wisdom of others, truly lends to our own development!
Again, my thanks and appreciation for all these experiences.
If you are thinking of Buying a Home, or Selling your Home, then I would welcome the opportunity to speak with you! Give me a call, or drop me a text at (352) 601 8446
